  CR Digital X-ray

Digital X-ray Radiogrammetry (DXR) is a means of measuring bone mineral density (BMD). Digital X-ray radiogrammetry is based on the old technique of radiogrammetry. In DXR the cortical thickness of the three middle metacarpal bones in the hand is measured in a digital X-ray image by a computer and is through a geometrical operation converted to the forearm bone mineral density. The BMD is corrected for porosity of the bone, estimated by a texture analysis performed on the cortical part of the bone.

We are providing the CR Digital X-ray procedures for suggestive parts by consulted physician.

  Orthopantomogram ( OPG) – Dental X – ray

Orthopantomogram(OPG) also known as an "orthopantogram" or "panorex", is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaws. It shows a two-dimensional view of a half-circle from ear to ear.
Note: The procedures for OPG patients will be taken as suggested by any physican through requisition.

  Mammography

Mammography is the process of using low-dose X-rays (usually around 0.7 mSv) to examine the human breast. It is used to look for different types of tumors and cysts. Mammography has been proven to reduce mortality from breast cancer. No other imaging technique has been shown to reduce risk, but self-breast examination (SBE) and physician examination are essential parts of regular breast care. In some countries routine (annual to five-yearly) mammography of older women is encouraged as a screening method to diagnose early breast cancer. Note: The procedures for mammography will be taken as suggested by any physican through requisition.
